Antwerp Table Lamp (6000-0036)
by Currey
The Antwerp Table Lamp is part utilitarian object and part work of art with its vibrant Cerulean blue glass twisted into a layer of clear crystal. The mouth-blown artistry is put on a pedestal of double-stacked optic crystal at its base, the off-white shantung shade perched atop it completing the composition. Given the complexity of its lines and the plump in its shape where it meets the base, we couldn’t resist naming it for the town that was home to the baroque Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens.
